💡 Lights, 🎥 Camera, 🎻 Action, it’s the @ps532newbridges Orchestra! #NewBridges It was fantastic to be the lead clinician at the TATI Northeast Regional Practicum, and present on culturally responsive teaching and student engagement strategies as we built community through reflective and collaborative conversations! Check us out moving, grooving, and real-time improving on our teaching! @tatraininginstitute Lunar Vibes all year long! 🌕 Listen to P.S. 244Q musicians learning language through music by rapping “Lunar Vibes” with Ms. Ilardi! ✨ #WeAreGolden @fflatbooks Every moment in music counts! Here is a timelapse of 8 minutes in music that includes: learning the music by rote singing and finding where we stopped in the sheet music, practicing the choreography as we sing together, splitting into two groups with one group singing and the other group playing, switching our groups and roles, joining as an entire ensemble to play together, turning and talking to share ideas on musical expression, sharing our ideas aloud, trying out our new ideas through playing, and reflecting on our progress! 🎻🎶💫 #NewBridges On intentions, emotions, music, poetry, orchestration and so much more with @chrisemdin @soundhealthnet 🎙️ Honored to have presented at @carnegiehall as part of Music Educators Workshop on “Affirmations within Our Music Classroom Community through an Abolitionist Lens”! It is truly invigorating to be in reflective and introspective brave space with fellow music educators. May we continue to center our students, our communities, and the intersection of our healing with our joy! ✨ 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 (𝗖enter, 𝗨plift, 𝗟iberate, 𝗧each, 𝗨nderstand, 𝗥espond, 𝗘radicate) interwoven together helps to continually cultivate community in the classroom. 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 Strings players are in full swing and rehearsal at @ps532newbridges ✨ From beginning violin to Ensemble Majors and Orchestra, stay tuned to hear what we’re working on! 🎻 #NewBridges
